OrthoMedia Videos in JAPANESE

Don't think we ever told too many people about this, which is just a shame because this was one of the most interesting, challening and exciting projects we've worked on to date.

This past spring we were contacted by Dr. Brian Noguchi in Torrance, CA, who was interested in adding videos to his newly-designed Televox website. Torrance, as we would tell us, has one of the largest populations of Japanese Americans anywhere in the country... and a large part of his practice consists of Japanese-speaking patients. So he wanted to do a series of videos in both English AND Japanese.

Long story short, we were excited to take on the challenge (even though neither Nikki nor I speak even a hint of Japanese), and with Dr. Noguchi's help we produced some fantastic videos.

Take a look at the site: http://www.noguchiortho.com/. Check out the English versions, then click on the Japanese symbol in the upper-right corner to see the Japanese versions. Very cool stuff!

We know many of you cater to patients who speak different languages, so there's no excuse not to grab their attention with video as well! Give us a shout and let's make it happen!

That’s a Wrap! Our Shoot in Columbia, SC

We just love South Carolina. But then again, who doesn’t? Such a beautiful state and such awesome people.

Nik and I just returned from an action-packed, fun-filled shoot at the office of Dr. Richard Boyd in Columbia, SC. Many of you probably know or have heard of Dr. Boyd… he’s a talented orthodontist, teacher, lecturer, mentor and he’s got an infectious passion for orthodontics. He’s actually had videos on his website for a few years now, but called on us to come out and freshen up the overall look and feel of the videos a bit. We of course appreciate the opportunity!

The shoot went extremely well, and we had a great time with Dr. Boyd, his team and the patients they enlisted to help out us. It was so much fun, in fact, we wound up shooting our first-ever impromptu music video! We’re in the beginning stages of putting it together, but I think it’s going to come out looking very cool (as are all of Dr. Boyd’s videos). Our thanks to Dr. Boyd, Caroline and the rest of the team for all their help!

Only disappointing part of the trip was that we didn’t get to spend more time in SC. But we’re going back in the not-too-distant future, and really looking forward to our return.

Until next time,

~ Dusty
